Our second Manufacturing Experience, an experiential day camp for kids in Grades 6 through 8, was held in Noble County on October 28, 2023!

This camp was made possible through a collaboration involving certified instructors from Freedom Academy using equipment housed in the iSMART Lab at the Community Learning Center. Tech demos and experiences were made possible by Impact Institute, a licensed drone operator, a local high school robotics team, and others who utilize advanced technologies.

 

Manufacturing Experience 2023 engaged 20 curious youth who are drawn to technology and "how things work" to enjoy this hands-on experience. The camp introduced and highlighted advanced manufacturing technologies and career opportunities in Noble County and Northeast Indiana.
